Concrete Handprints and Homestead Scriptures!

REPOSTED FROM: July 12, 2013

As we are moving (slowly) into our new home and doing some remodeling, we decided to have the children do hand prints on the newly laid concrete drive.

In addition to that, we also chose some special Scriptures for our new homestead!

Psalm 127 is a family favorite, because it talks of building a home, and the blessings of children!

"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.

Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate."

Psalm 128:1-2 just so happens to be in the following chapter.

"Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you."

Do you hesitate to judge?

I see far too much hesitation from Believers to silently tolerate that which Jesus would not.
