I often start blog posts and save them to my draft folder, and usually I remember to go back and finish them. Well, this one I did not. It's rather funny, because it's well over a year old and because well, we found our home (yes, only on 19 acres) and are moving out to the country! However, this will not impede our current ministry commitments BUT..if you are desiring to live off the land, look around you to see why GOD has you placed where you are! There is a reason!

When we have considered moving out of town to live on more acreage than we have right now, I always have considered how long it will take us to get to the abortion center if we moved. If it's too far out from town to go whenever we can, it is always counted as a negative!
This quote rings so true in relation to that consideration of where we choose to be planted. :)
"Some wish to live within the sound of a chapel bell; I wish to run a rescue mission within a yard of hell." ~ Pastor C.T. Studd
We have always half-way joked that we would love to live on "100 acres in the middle of nowhere". Could we do that eventually? Yes. But I WANT to live in a way that we can do the ministry that God called us to do here on earth, not in a way where we are so comfortable here on earth that we miss God's plan for our family's ministry! I am content in living in a place where I can easily go to our mission field in front of the killing places (abortion mills) where babies are murdered and men and women well on their way to hell!
"Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings." 1 Corinthians 9:19 & 23
